Arthritis is a form of joint disorder that involves inflammation of one or more joints. There are over 100 different forms of arthritis. Regardless of the type of arthritis, the common symptoms for all arthritis disorders include varied levels of pain, swelling, joint stiffness, and sometimes a constant ache around the joint(s).

Patients with arthritis will probably have blood tests as part of their initial evaluation and follow-up care. This is because blood is the most easily and safely sampled body tissue, and it contains traces of material from every other part of the body.

Early diagnosis results in less joint damage and less pain.

The tests includes:

  • CBC
  • ESR
  • Calcium
  • Phosphorus
  • Uric Acid
  • HLA-B27
  • ANA
  • Anti- DSDNA
  • CRP
  • ASO
  • RA Factor
  • X-Ray (Both Knees)
